After visiting Paris, we drove to the seaside. We visited Saint-Malo, a historic French port built on a rock standing in a naturally defensive position at the westcoast.
A few days later we drove to Mont-Saint-Michel, one of Europe’s most unforgettable sights set in a mesmerising bay shared by Normandy and Brittany. On our way we got good tips and tricks for this visit. The best tip we got, wasn’t to follow the crowd, but walk around the island with low tide and take the “back door” for a quite tour. This was a very calm an good surprise! When we walked back we finally noticed how busy and touristic it was. A well worth visit to see the church built at the top of the island and see the spectaculair difference between high and low seatide.
We slowly drove North. We followed the seaside and had some really nice sleeping spots. Dad surfed a few good sessions and mommy had her yoga. One of the best moments this trip, was when we waked up our daughters and went up to the cliff for the best sunset ever! It almost felt like magic.
